Because Mogo uses the latest technology and mass amounts of data, no two customers ever look the same to us. That means we can't tell you upfront what documents you will need to provide or verification you may be required to complete. What we can tell you is that it varies by product and by the customer, it could be that once you're approved, there is no further action required from you other than to sign your electronic agreements. On the other hand, you may be asked to provide Mogo with more documents or complete some additional verification steps.
Supporting Docs:
There are times that our team would request additional documents in order to proceed with our review. Please note that we may still ask for other supporting documents after you complete this request. Please ensure documents are clear and legible and in ONE email to ensure efficient processing.
- Bank Statement - Our automated bank verification process is the quickest way to verify your bank! Our partners use bank-level security protocols that are specifically designed to keep your info safe and secure. From your MogoAccount, click on the "Verify" or "Connect a bank" button in your Loan Dashboard and follow the steps to securely submit a read-only copy of your bank statement.
You also have the option to upload manual bank statements from your MogoAccount, however you will need to have it stamped by your financial institution.
- Proof of income - we may request clear and legible copies of your two most recent paystubs (we need to clearly see the employer name, address, pay date and net pay)
- Proof of identification - we may request clear and legible copy of a valid government issued photo ID, preferably a driver’s license.
- Proof of address - If your ID does not show your current address, we may need a copy of your most recent utility bill showing your current address
