If the name on your MogoAccount doesn't match the name on the bank account that you sent your Interac e-Transfer from, we aren't able to accept your transfer.
Don't worry, you can still add money to your MogoCard!
If the name on your MogoAccount is your legal name and your financial institution has something different, you'll need to reach out to your financial institution and update the name on your bank account accordingly.
Note: If your bank account is a joint account, your name has to be on the account as well for us to accept the Interac e-Transfer. Please make sure that your e-Transfer shows your legal name.
If the bank account you sent money from already has your legal name (and your MogoAccount does not) you'll need to send us a copy of your valid, current, government-issued photo ID showing your name. Please chat with us to get this sorted out. Once we've verified your ID, you can go ahead and complete another Interac e-Transfer.
